In 2005 I co-founded a small nonprofit we called the Kansas City Center for Urban Agriculture. It was later renamed Cultivate Kansas City. As an organic farmer, urban planner and journalist, I found a lot of wonderful projects and opportunities to grow in this role and in this organization.
On this page I’d like to share a few moments and memories from that period of my life:

- The 34-page program (PDF) of the Urban Farms and Gardens Tour 2009 hosted by the Kansas City Center for Urban Agriculture. This was such an amazing event which brought together many stakeholders and visionaries!
